are proud to add this wonderful son of Flip Jones,
(registered as
Jones Flip) to our group of stud dogs!
Sired by Jones Flip, (also called Flip
Jones) who is well a known conformation winner. Flip was
bred by David Jones in Wales. Imported to the United States
as a puppy by Beau and Kathleen White of High Range Kennel;
Flip now lives with Dianna Perez of Keeper's Quest Jack
Russell Terriers in North Dakota. As far as we know this is
the only Flip son standing in the western states!
Indy is the full brother to Keeper's Quest
Jasper. Winner of Reserve Champion Best Family and sire of
Keeper's Quest Heather, ( who's dam is Witter Springs Reba,
a Foxnorton Emerson daughter), Reserve Champion Best 4-6
Month Old Puppy on Saturday, Sept.4, 2010 at the Cowboy
Classic.
Note:
We have been asked why Indy's tail isn't short, and if this
is normal for a purebred JRT?
The
answer is simple. When his litter was born they were all
extremely small, tiny in fact.
Dianna
was afraid that if she clipped the tails that the stress
might be too much for the puppies to handle.
Fearing
that she might lose them, she decided to leave the
tails natural as they do in the UK.
Yes it
is normal, in fact natural for a Jack Russell to have a
longer tail.
