F&Q ABOUT OUR PUPPIES
CAN
I MAKE A DEPOSIT TO HOLD THE PUPPY I LIKE?
Yes,
deposit will be subtracted from the sales price. Deposits
are NON REFUNDABLE.
If
for any reason the seller cannot produce the puppy (death,
illness or the reserved puppy turns out to be pet quality
when
the
buyer wanted breeding or show quality) then the buyer may
receive a replacement puppy of choice or a full refund of
the deposit.
Puppies must be paid in full and picked up
at no later than 10 weeks of age unless otherwise agreed
upon in advance.
WHAT
IS THE DIFFRENCE BETWEEN SHOW /BREEDING QUALITY AND PET
QUALITY?
Show/breeding quality means that the puppy
will pass the exam for full registration at the age of one
year.
This
will entitle it to be shown or used for breeding. It does
not however guarantee that the dog will win.
All
dogs are sold as show quality unless there is a defect that
is visible at the time of sale.
The
JRTCA requires a veterinary exam at the age of one year
before any dog can be registered or recorded.

WHAT
ABOUT REGISTRATION AND RECORDING?
The
JTCA has strict guidelines that determine if a dog is
eligible for full registration or is categorized as a
recording.
Registration classifies the dog as show
/breeding quality. However the JRTCA does not issue
registration if the dog is spay/neutered.
In
this case the dog falls under the recording category. Just
because its pet quality does not mean there is anything
wrong with it.
They
simply do not meet the requirements for full registration.
This might include things like having too much pink on the
nose,
prick ears or a bite that is off. Pet
quality dogs may be recorded after they are
spay/neutered.
This
does not stop them from showing in performance classes and
some conformation classes in JRTCA sanctioned shows.
CAN
I SPAY/NEUTER MY DOG AND GET A REFUND?
Please note that a dog does not change from
show/breeding quality to pet quality because the owner
decides to spay/neuter the animal.
In
this case the decision is neither that of the breeder and or
needed because of a genetic fault.
The
buyer is not entitled to a refund of the difference.
DO
YOU GAURENTEE YOUR PUPPIES?
Puppies are BAER tested, have had all shots,
are wormed and are guaranteed against genetic health
issues.
If
the puppy is sold as show quality and fails the vet exam due
to genetic fault such as jaw line, prick ears or
size,
the
buyer is entitled to a refund of the difference of the price
between show and pet quality or replacement.
The
following is required: a copy of the failed JRTCA
registration form with the signature of the Vet.
This
must include a signed and dated document saying why the dog
failed the exam. A spay/neuter certificate must be
included.
DO
YOU SHIP?
Yes, we ship out of Sacramento Ca
airport. We are willing to provide an airline approved
crate, bedding,
Vet
work and see that your pet is safely on the airplane at
cost. We suggest American Air or Delta.
WHAT
DO WE NEED WHEN WE PICK UP OUR PUPPY?
We
advise that you bring a crate your your puppy to ride home
in.
This
provides a safe secure place and will assure the puppy not
be under foot while driving.
If
you are bring a second person with you, then they may be
able to hold the puppy using a collar and leash.
We
have racing leads for sale that are safe, secure and
adjustable.
